Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving Community Outreach
Our FAMILY at Holy Family School was very busy leading up to the Thanksgiving break. We had a magnificent Veteran's Day Ceremony, where Mr. Fitzgerald's brother, Edward Fitzgerald was the surprise guest speaker. The children were completely enamoured with his speech and coudn't wait to meet with him after the ceremony.
Additionally, our Thanksgiving "Give Thanks" Drive was a huge success. Students from pre-k to grade 8 handmade cards that they personally delivered with pies donated from our Home School Association. The students went to Cambridge Manor, Thomas Merton House and into baskets that were put together for the needy of our parish.... It was a humbling experience for everyone involved.
