We are a parent run organization that seeks to enrich the experience of all families enrolled at Holy Family School through our endeavors. As a parent or guardian of a child enrolled in our school, you are automatically a member and an integral part of the Home School Association! The six member Board of the Association counts on the input and involvement of each and every parent or guardian to assist in supporting and enhancing the outstanding educational experience and “family” environment that our students enjoy.
We encourage you to explore our web page and log on to the wiki to become more familiar with our many activities and services, but most importantly, please get involved!! We ask you to please support our fundraising activities and to offer your time, talents, & effort in volunteering to the extent that you can. “Many hands make light work” and “too few hands make little success”! We need your participation to help your child have the best learning experience!
Goals of the Home School Association
Through fundraising efforts, to provide funding for $50,000 of ordinary school expenses (such as teacher salaries, utilities, etc.) which are not included in the student tuition cost.
Use fundraising proceeds which exceed $50,000 to provide educational & environmental enhancements to our school. (In 2007/08, major purchases with this money included 27 new computers for the computer lab, one interactive white board, the Rigby leveled reading program for grades K-3, air conditioning units for the lower level, and contributions to the After School Program security system and to each classroom for supplies.)
Promote the “family” community spirit of our school through parent socials and support services, teacher appreciation, Catholic Schools Week activities, and volunteerism to support school events.
